A Young Historian Convention was to be in Owensboro in April 1968. The two-day event was to feature tours, banquets, an address by Lt. Governor Wendell Ford, a sock hop, presentation of awards and election off officers. Jim Catlett, Mrs. George Aldridge and Jim Boyd were also planning to attend.
