The Lady Bears had a busy week last week, having a game every day for four days straight, including two home games.

Vs. Atherton

The Lady Bears traveled to Atherton on Oct. 10, and lost to the Ravens 0 — 3, with match scores of 25-23, 25-13, and 25-23.

Vs. Henry County

The first of two home games in a row was against Henry County on Oct. 11. The Lady Bears would sweep the Ladycats 3 — 0, with match scores of 25-15, 25-17, and 25-10.

Vs. Trimble County

On Oct. 12, the Lady Bears celebrated their four seniors, #1 Emma Botkins, #23 Lorelae Cox, #11 Nora Knight, and #8 Alanna Wray, at home vs. Trimble County. The Lady Bears would lose to the Lady Raiders 2-0, with match scores of 25-19, and 25-21.

Vs. South Oldham

On Oct. 13, the Lady Bears traveled to South Oldham and lost to the Lady Dragons 3-0, with match scores of 25-11, 25-18, and 25-11.

The Lady Bears traveled to Collins to play Shelby County on Monday as part of the 30th District Volleyball Tournament. The winner of that game advanced to play Woodford County on Tuesday, with the finals being held on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Spencer County finished their regular season with a record of 7 — 17, 4 — 8 in the region, and 2 — 4 in the district.
