Patricia R. Wills, 77, of Shelbyville, died on Monday, Feb. 13, 2023, at the Valhalla Post Acute Care Center in Louisville. Born in Spencer County on March 17, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John Foreman and Geneva Gertrude Smith Wills.
She was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Taylorsville. A long-time fan of Elvis Presley, she collected Elvis Presley memorabilia. She was also a fan of both the University of Kentucky Wildcats, and the University of Louisville Cardinals ,and enjoyed watching their basketball games. Her pastimes included watching “The Young and the Restless,” cooking, going for walks, and talking on the phone.
Her survivors include her siblings, Joan W. Brown, John A. Wills (Peggy), and Marilyn W. Shelburne (Scotty), all of Shelbyville; nieces and nephews, Chip Brown (Annie), Tracy Billingsley (Jeff), Darrin Wills (Erin), Julia Shelburne-Hitti (Damon), Jamie Vail (Jackie), and Kristin Longley (Frank); and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville, with Deacon Joe Bland officiating. Inturnment and interment will be in the Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville.
Visitation was from 2 p.m. until 5:45 p.m., and following the service until 8 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville.
