Circuit court indictments

The following indictments were handed down by the Spencer County Circuit Court on Oct. 5:

James W. Rose, 220 Mike Brown Road, Taylorsville, was indicted on one count theft by unlawful taking $1,000 or more but under $10,000, a Class D felony, stemming from an incident on May 9, 2022.

Kenneth R. Woodrome, 2827 Garfield Avenue, Louisville, was indicted on illegal possession of a controlled substance, first degree, methamphetamine, a class D felony; and one count attempted tampering with physical evidence, a Class A misdemanor, all stemming from an incident on Aug. 15, 2022.

Charles E. Waldridge, 3414 Mt. Eden Road, Mt. Eden, was indicted on illegal possession of a controlled substance, first degree, methamphetamine, second offense, a class D felony, stemming from an incident on Aug. 24, 2022.

Chase M. Mills, 660 Lebanon Ridge Road, Frankfort, was indicted on illegal possession of a controlled substance, first degree, methamphetamine, a class D felony; and one count illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor, both stemming from an incident on Sept. 10, 2022.

Michael Lewis, 140 Ray Road #9, Taylorsville, was indicted on one count operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicants, fourth offense, aggravating circumstances, a class D felony, stemming from an incident on Aug. 27, 2022.

The following indictments were handed down by the Spencer County Circuit Court on Oct. 6:

Justin Gable, 2200 Murphy Lane, Mt. Eden, was indicted on one count possession of a firearm by convicted felon, a Class D felony, stemming from an incident on Aug. 31, 2022.

Jamie R. Spellman, 1126 Dogwood Circle, Taylorsville, was indicted on two counts illegal possession of a controlled substance, first degree, opiates, second offense, a class D felony; one count illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor; one count possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; one count possession of controlled substances not in original container, first offense, a class B misdemeanor; and one count speeding 17 miles per hour over the speed limit, all stemming from an incident on April 9, 2022.

Robert B. Rogers, 226 W. Main Street, Taylorsville, was indicted on one count illegal possession of a controlled substance, first degree, methamphetamine, a class D felony, stemming from an incident on June 7, 2022.

Burdette Park, 491 Creek Valley Road, Taylorsville, was indicted on eight counts wanton endangerment, class D felonies, all stemming from an incident on Nov. 25, 2020.

Aaron D. Cook, 459 Waterford Loop, Taylorsville, was indicted on one count burglary in the third degree, a class D felony; one count possession of burglary tools, a class A misdemeanor; and one count failure to notify transportation cabinet of change of address, a Class B misdemeanor, all stemming from an incident on June 18, 2022.

Jennifer Ann Travis, 459 Waterford Loop, Taylorsville, was indicted on one count burglary in the third degree, a class D felony; one count illegal possession of a controlled substance, first degree, methamphetamine, a class D felony; one count possession of burglary tools, a class A misdemeanor; one count illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor; one count possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; and one count failure to notify transportation cabinet of change of address, a Class B misdemeanor, all stemming from an incident on June 18, 2022.

Jeremiah D. Neou, 10601 Hite Creek Road, Louisville, was indicted on one count burglary in the first degree, a class B felony; one count illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor; and one count possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor, all stemming from an incident on June 24, 2022.

Parker L. Tennell, 2903 Glenn Hill Court, Louisville, was indicted on one count burglary in the first degree, a class B felony; one count illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor; one count possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; and one count speeding 25 miles over the speed limit, all stemming from an incident on June 24, 2022.

Elijah L. Williamson, 3500 Dawn Court, Louisville, was indicted on one count burglary in the first degree, a class B felony; one count illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor; and one count possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor, all stemming from an incident on June 24, 2022.

An indictment does not mean guilt or innocence. It only means that at least nine of the 12 grand jurors felt there was enough evidence to continue with a criminal trial.
