MOUNT WASHINGTON — Hosting a special celebration, Inspirations of Mount Washington reminded everyone they are not like home, they are home.
The assisted living facility recently celebrated its grand re-opening following building renovations and welcoming its new management and new owners, Ventas. Inspirations is now a Grace Management Community.
Executive director Danielle Brown said a complete remodel was part of the celebration, with new paint, lighting and wall fixtures, as well as new furniture and new roof.
“This is just a way for us to celebrate our new management,” Brown said.
The event included a ribbon cutting ceremony, hosted jointly by the Bullitt County, Spencer County, and Fern Creek Chambers of Commerce.
The party featured punch cards for guests to have filled out while touring the facility. The cards could be turned back in once completed for a chance to win an overnight bed & breakfast experience at the Lodge of Dant Crossing, along with a bourbon tour.
“It’s a fun way to tour our facilities and see what we have to offer,” said Brown.
Inspirations hosts 68 total rooms, 50 including assisted living and another 18 devoted to memory care. The assisted living community hosts an assortment of daily activities, which Brown said could be viewed on the location’s Facebook page.
The facility provides three meals per day plus snacks, as well as housekeeping, laundry, and transportation services. Staff members are available 24/7.
