Henry County High School held its annual Senior Honors Night on May 15. Seniors were awarded local scholarships and honor accolades and recognized for receiving college scholarships as well. In total, $2,228,796 in institutional and local scholarships, grants and financial aid will be awarded to the HCHS Class of 2023 to assist with their post-secondary plans.

High Academic Honor — The High Academic Honor Graduate is the highest honor for students. A cumulative GPA of 3.75 is required by the end of the third nine-week grading period of their senior year. Each student must have completed 10 honor classes during high school. Academic Honor — Academic Honor Graduates have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 to a 3.7499 by the end of the third nine-week grading period of their senior year and have completed 10 honor courses during high school. The 2023 Academic Honor Graduates are: Daniel Arroyo-Bustos; Sara Bryant, who plans to attend Western Kentucky University; Kennady Follas; Sophia Isaacs; Adriana Robinson, who plans to attend Murray State University; Luke Shea, who plans to attend Eastern Kentucky University; Hannah Smith, who plans to attend the University of Kentucky; James Tingle, who plans to attend the University of Kentucky; and Aaliyah Wilson, who plans to attend the University of Louisville.
Honor — Honor Graduates have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher with fewer than 10 honor courses by the end of the third nine-week grading period of their senior year. The 2023 Honor Graduates are: Mia Herrell; Alexis Jeffries, who plans to attend Kentucky Welding Institute; and Madison Linville, who plans to attend Bellarmine University.

Meg and Lucas — It is highly unusual that the same seniors would be named the male and female athlete of the year and the outstanding male and female, but this year Mary Elizabeth (Meg) Golden and Trey (Luke) Lyons earned both honors. Meg was named the Outstanding Senior Female and the Bev Parrish Award winner, and Luke was named the Outstanding Senior Male and the Ross Wallace award winner.
